Qld: Authorities hold concerns for missing pilot
BRISBANE, Feb 23 AAP - Authorities were today searching for a pilot reported missingafter taking off on a flight south west of Brisbane yesterday.
Australian Search and Rescue (AusSAR) is coordinating the search for the 48 year-old-manand his single-engine light aircraft.
AusSAR spokesman Ben Mitchell said the man, who is described as a "very experiencedpilot", was reported missing at about 8pm (AEST) last night after leaving from Warwickon a flight to Boonah, 60km south west of Brisbane.
